Sourcing consultant Inverto expands world-wide operations

Richard McIntosh joins team in London

Sourcing consultancy company Inverto is continuing its process of internationalisation and the global expansion of its management team by increasing its presence in London. Richard McIntosh has been appointed Managing Director of the Inverto team based in the centre of the British capital. Established in 2008, the London site enables Inverto to provide support to customers in the trade and industry sectors in the U.K. In addition, the company also benefits from close proximity to the hub of the European private equity industry.

“In Richard McIntosh, we have gained an experienced purchasing manager and consultant who has built up an in-depth knowledge of the British market over a number of years,” says Kiran Mazumdar, a partner in Inverto. McIntosh (40) has around 16 years’ experience in strategic purchasing and sourcing consultancy. His career has included positions in strategic purchasing at Ford and the supply chain team of KPMG.

“The economic challenges on the British market are increasing all the time. As a result, there is also growing demand for the consultancy services Inverto provides in the field of purchasing,” reports McIntosh. “In particular, our clients appreciate our flexible success-based approach to fees. We will continue to expand our team in London in order to provide U.K.-based operations that will support not only our U.K. customers but also foreign companies with U.K. operations.”
